Connect with God in Giving.

"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." ~Proverbs 3:9-10

The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians that “God loves a cheerful giver,” for no gift given to God is unrewarded – it is a seed, and it always returns to us. Why? Because God Himself gave us the Ultimate Gift: His Only Begotten Son. God is a Giver!

We give because it is our worship to God. When we think of our family or children and how we spend our hard earned money on their education or on gifts for them. We do it out of our hearts because we love them so much and want the very best for them.

In the same way the scriptures declare “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Luke 12:34). We therefore give because God is in our heart; and we love Him so much that we should be willing to do anything we can to can do to add value to his kingdom. Above all, God did not give Jesus without the expectation of a return. He sowed Jesus as a seed in order to reap a harvest which is a family that includes you and I. Therefore, we also should give... with EXPECTATION.

We are responsible to sow and God is responsible for the Harvest. We are co-laborers together with God. God does not produce failures: He is the Lord of the Harvest. In Luke 6:38, Jesus says,

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
